Lucy's Favorite Cadillac Songs.

The following are not only Cadillac related, but are by my favorite artists and are all damn fine for cuttin' a rug to as well. Turn the volumn waaay up, sit back and enjoy baby!
Yes, every one of these songs is about Cadillacs; Yeeha!

First up it's 'Dear Dad' a Chuck Berry classic about needing to trade his slow Ford on a Caddy - yeah baby!

Another Chuck Berry gem, 'No Money Down' - listen to these goose-bump raisin' lyrics about cruisin' into your local Caddy dealer for a new tricked ride!

What, Chuck again, anyone would think HE was the true King of Rock 'n' Roll (he is you know). This time it's Nadine and her coffee coloured Cadillac.

The King of Swing, Rockabilly Swing that is, Brian and 'Brand New Cadillac'.

Here's a song by a Southern police officer, Warlick O'Dell Dollar. The song is about how he chased a Cad at 105mph for sixteen miles. The guy got a $16 fine. (And no, the Caddy wasn't confiscated & crushed!) I've talked to Peso's son on email - what a thrill!

Okay, okay, so I'm a Brian Setzer fan. I think he was about 12 years old when he made this one. Bloody great cars though.

A lost rockin' Caddy classic from before there were video clips of any sort. Mr Baker Knight. Listen carefully to the closing lyrics; just not when your wife is around :)

It'd be a crime if there weren't a Pink Caddy here wouldn't it; and baby, is this a top tune to dance to.

Okay, after that Eighties bad hair let's go back to pre-video days and Warren Smith. It's real early Rockabilly.

Here's a real 'lost classic', it's 1955 and Elvis is singing this tune for only the 2nd time; it's Chuck's classic Maybellene! (This is the 50s Elvis I LOVE!)

Another real oldie, but a rockin' oldie! Cadillac Baby by Bill Sherrell.

Cadillac Ranch by The Boss (love the lyrics)

Wanna Caddy? Here's an idea from Johnny Cash.

Cadillac Jack

Caddy songs cross all generations...

This last song (it will always stay at the end) shows Lucy is broadminded... or maybe she has a weird sense of humour. Yes, it's a RAP song and it's in German too. BUT the song shows how the Cadillac culture is international, and listen too for all the English words that are now part of the German language, big-block, Escalade etc.
